Every Thursday 11am-1pm (but not 13th or 27th): Fairtrade stall with foods & crafts/gifts (from jewellery and scarves to cards). Run by Chris Thompson
Saturday 8 June from 10am-noon: Drop-in Advice Session with your community police officer and your local councillors (district cllrs Keith Flunder & Ian Herdman, and – 11-12noon only – county cllr Ross Ward), listening and helping with queries. (Held every 2nd Sat of every month)
Monday 10th June from 5.30-7pm: Creative-Writing Group – £1. All abilities welcome. No need to book, just drop in. (Held every 2nd & 4th Mon of every month)

Tues 25 June: IT Beginners Course, run by Leek College. Weekly sessions for five weeks from 10am-12. Spaces available – please book (at reception desk) as soon as possible. Qualification avialable for anone who completes the 5 weeks.
Wed 26 June from 7.30pm: Blythe Library Centre AGM. A great opportunity to find out more about this centre, what we have achieved since taking on the Library and where our plans may take us. And learn about our Friends of Blythe Centre Group!
Sat 29 June from 7.30pm: Pie & Pea Supper & Quiz. Enjoy a fun team-quiz as you try our lovely food (including a glass of wine). Tickets £10
Tuesday 2 July (and every first Tuesday of each month) 9.30-1.30pm: Citizens Advice from the Cheadle Citizens Advice Bureau. FREE – but by appointment only (call Cheadle CAB on 01538 751816 for a slot). Helping you with independent advice, and with support in the fields of benefits, debt & financial services and capability. Also, help with basic computer skills via our Digital Champion.
*Monday mornings 9.30-11.30am: Stay & Play, toys and games for babies & toddlers with qualified assistants – £1 for one/two children (includes snacks), 50p per extra child. This is a private session, as the centre is closed to the public otherwise. Term-time only, and not bank-holidays. Fresh Tea and Bean Coffee drinks for £1 (Also on Weds)
*Monday afternoons, 2pm-5pm: Chess Club – FREE. Beginners welcome, friendly tuition provided. Just drop in
*Wednesday mornings, 9.30-11.30 but closed in school holidays: Stay & Play, toys and games for babies & toddlers with qualified assistants – £1 for one/two children (includes snacks), 50p per extra child. This is a private session, as the centre is closed to the public otherwise.
Every Thursday 1pm-2.30pm: French Language Classes with Vanessa (for cost, see LanguageForFun’s website). Conversational courses with no exams, no tests!
*Thursday mornings 10am-noon: Knit & Natter – FREE. For knitters, crochet or needleworkers, of all abilities
*Thursday mornings 10am-noon: Quilting. Join the local quilting group, a social
group giving help and experienced tuition.
* Thursday evenings, 6pm-10pm: Warhammer Club (over 16s only, drop-in session, weekly sub)
*Friday mornings: Baby Bounce & Rhyme from 9.30-10am. FREE; no booking required. For children up to 4yrs, and their parents or guardians. Closed in school holidays
Friday mornings: Careers Service Sessions from 9am-1pm. For 19 years old and up – covering employment services, CV writing and application support. For those unemployed, or not. Please book – call 0121 296 5550. FREE
*Friday from 2-4pm: Backgammon Club Beginners welcome – enjoy or learn the art of backgammon. FREE
*Saturday from 10am-12.30: Games For Kids – including lego and board-games. Under-11s must be accompanied. FREE
And…. every day, all day: Self-led Arts & Crafts Creativity – paint a pot, design a keyring, paint a money box etc. This is an anytime drop-in activity – from 50p to £2.50p depending on materials. This activity is ‘self-led’ so parents are asked to supervise children who are under 9.
NB Our Language Classes run by the LanguageForFun company. Each class is weekly for ten weeks, £120. (See LanguageForFun’s website). Conversational courses with no exams: French for Beginners, Spanish & Italian classes. Learn or develop the language in a fun and friendly way – no tests!

IT Classes take place once a month – support classes to increase your basic computer skills; beginners welcome. For dates, please ask at desk.
